The summer festival season might be drawing to a close but here’s something to look forward to as the nights draw in – the return of FEAST Weymouth.
Back for its third year, the eight week long event – supported by Weymouth BID – is all about celebrating dining out. It encourages visitors to the town to sample the delicious independent restaurants, cafés and pubs who will be serving special set menus between 3rd October and 30th November.
The organisers are promising greater variety and better value than ever before. Each participating venue provides a set-menu or offer within the price ranges of £5, £10, £15, £20 or £25 for customers to dine on. The list of eateries participating is impressive and includes:

It all kicks off with a new opening event for 2016 on Saturday 1st October – the pop-up kitchen. Located in the town centre, the pop-up will host local chefs demonstrating new dishes and giving the locals a chance to sample food from their restaurant. A cooking class competition from Les Enfants Terrible is also up for grabs.
John McInally, Head Chef of Shelley’s at The Dining Room comments: “We are really excited to be part of FEAST Weymouth this year. Weymouth really needs this sort of event in October and November and we can’t wait to get cracking! We think we have a great menu and can’t wait to share it with you all.”
Luciano Da Silva, head chef at The Nothe Tavern adds: “FEAST Weymouth is such a great event, and an excellent way for us to showcase our refurbished restaurant! We are thrilled to have this opportunity to let everyone know about our new delicious menu, cosy surroundings and great bar. We hope to see you many of you over the 8 weeks, we are sure you will love our menu”.
