Dorset is delicious. There’s now so much great food and drink in this county, it’s difficult to take it all in. Which is why we’re pleased to announce Dorset Food & Drink – The Guide 2016/17. It’s the bible for food lovers when it comes to eating, drinking and shopping locally.
Coming from Dorset Food & Drink, the county-wide initiative of the Dorset Area of Natural Beauty Partnership, this free 66 page directory celebrates our world-class local producers and shows us the best places to eat and drink in the region. And it’s been produced by Lifestyle Media House, the same people who bring you Menu.
All of Dorset Food & Drinks members can be found inside. These are local producers to be proud of, whether they farm, fish, grow, bake, preserve or brew. Expect to find lots of produce you have to try – some of the country’s finest food and drink is in its pages.
The Guide also champions the best places to eat, drink, shop and stay. There are great restaurants, cafés, pubs, delis and farm shops to discover. Dorset Food & Drink members are committed to serving local, seasonal and sustainable food so you can enjoy their food with the knowledge you’re helping local communities and the planet.
You’ll be able to pick up your free copy of the Guide from all good independent shops, cafés and outlets. Or head along to the Fish and Ships festival on April 9th and 10th at Portland Marina. As well as all the best local food, watersports and live music, Dorset Food & Drink will be giving out copies of the Guide. Full details here: http://www.deanreddyhoff.co.uk/news/fish-and-ships-2016
